I just found your podcast a few days ago, good info, I enjoy the new bits for sure. I feel like smart grid hacking will be a very interesting topic very soon.
I wanted to point out that viruses don’t necessarily have to be manually run by the user.Although relatively uncommon, drive by downloads of viruses do occur and this does not change a files categorization as a virus. A better indicator or key behavior associated with a virus would be its ability to modify existing code or existing system files. A Worm is generally considered a sub category of virus in that it often will modify code or inject itself into legit process, but more appropriately by the methods in which it uses to spread spread it self.

You can find source code on many hacker forums or you can use the many virus/trojan builders out there. As for injecting.. you don’t “inject” you can send it to them in many forms to try and get them to run it.. i will try to make some content on this topic soon.
