Did you know that you could get the same college computer science education for free? You won’t get a degree, but it’s still a great education, and knowledge is power! I’ve put together a list of the best courses I could find:

Stanford Computer Science Education Library – This online library collects education CS material from Stanford courses and distributes them for free.

MIT Online Course Material – MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) has put up course materials from it’s classes. Some courses have videos of the actual classes going on from past years.

Intelligentedu.com – Intelligentedu has put together a big list of free Computer Science courses you can find online.

OERCommons.org – Along with individual authors of open materials, the OER Commons Initiative has partnered with many institutions and organizations to provide high-quality content.
