Due to a DDOS attack unleashed on Time Warner Cable, customers in the Southern California and National regions have had continuous internet outages. The attack was targeted at Time Warner’s DNS servers for a whole week. According to Time Warner, this attack will not be ignored, and they will prosecute. Below is the official E-Mail that was sent out to affected customers:

Today, there are only a few hacker zines left, and of those, only a couple are still by run by the “underground”. Many years ago, especially during the BBS days, hacking related zines were very popular. Hundreds sprung up, but only a select few became popular. In this post, I list a few of the currently run zines along with a list of the many zines that were written many years ago. It is very interesting to read them and see how the hacking community changed and technology evolved over time.

We’ve all seen the ridiculous attempts made by hollywood to try and portray hacker’s realisticly in their movies. And as I’m sure all of you have concluded, they absolutely….FAIL. How to hack. It’s a very often asked question with around 1,000,000 Google searches each month. I know that anyone that runs a hacking related website get’s asked this question daily.
